Let’s face it. Finding motivation to work-out or to go to the gym is really hard at the best of times – and the best of times, these are not!

Our gyms have closed, we’re social distancing and shouldn’t really be leaving the house unless completely necessary. So our workouts are mostly confined to the living room.

Catrina over at Cynergi Health and Fitness Club has made it really easy for all of you to have your daily dose of work-out, which we need both at a physical and a psychological level at this time.

Still Lacking Motivation? These tips might come in handy!

 

Make a schedule and stick to it.

Set key times and days during the week of when you want to do you at home work out as it can help you to feel motivated and ensure your work out regularly. If you do have to miss a workout for some reason, don’t feel disheartened. Just make a real effort to get back on track and stick to the plan you’ve set out for yourself.

 

Find a virtual community

Just because you can’t make it to the gym, doesn’t mean you can’t find some like-minded people to help keep you on track with your workouts. We aim to be just that. Send us your workout vids on our socials, and we will share them – you can be that inch of inspiration a person needs!

Set goals and allow yourself rewards

Setting goals is a great way to ensure you stay motivated and on track. For maximum success, take your bigger, overall goal and break it down into smaller, mini goals so that you can celebrate your successes more often. Allowing yourself small rewards for completing tougher workouts or reaching your goals is also a good way to motivate yourself to continue working out from home.

 

Keep it varied

One of the easiest ways to lose motivation is by letting your workouts become boring or monotonous. Variety is key to sticking to a long-term fitness regime. Using advice from an app will ensure your workout schedule includes lots of variety, keeping your body guessing for optimal results.
