Tom Cruise is being very serious about the COVID-19 regulation on the set of Mission:Impossible 7 – so serious that a recording of him shouting and swearing at crew members for not maintaining a social distance and for not making an effort for the film to be produced rather than preventing further disruptions, is doing the rounds on all social media.
Production on the movie has already been delayed due to the pandemic.
In the recording he is heard saying: “You can tell it to the people who are losing their f—ing homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night – the future of this f—ing industry!” Cruise said.
“So I’m sorry, I am beyond your apologies. I have told you, and now I want it, and if you don’t do it, you’re out. We are not shutting this f—ing movie down! Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re f—ing gone.”
After another rant on set, several Mission Impossible crew members quit after he said that the crew will be gone if they’re caught breaking the COVID-19 rules. Cruise feels very responsible for the production of the movie, after putting a lot of time and money, including hiring a cruise ship to maintain social distance.
“Mission: Impossible 7” is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and set to release on Nov. 19, 2021.
