The Crown’s Gillian Anderson shared a snippet that ‘was never meant to see the light of day’ of the cast dancing to Lizzo’s banger, Good as Hell, in costume during the funeral scene.

Anderson takes on the role of Margaret Thatcher in the recent fourth season of the beloved Netflix royal drama, and is also a star in another hit Netflix series, Sex Education.
The absolutely entertaining clip was played during Anderson’s appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers and sees almost the entire cast – yep, even Olivia Colman, who plays Queen Elizabeth II! As well as Tobias Menzies of course, who plays Prince Philip.
Anderson explained, ‘Olivia [Colman] apparently does a dance class in the area that she lives with a bunch of friends, on a regular basis.’
She continued, ‘And the last time she did the dance, they had danced to that Lizzo song, and she asked if we would happen to be interested in maybe doing it, and she would video it? And then she would just share it only with her friends, the other dancers. So it was never meant to see the light of day.’
Obviously, people were taken aback by such stately historical figures busting it out to a contemporary, 21st century song.
