Watch: shocking sinkholes found in one of Gozo’s busiest roads

A video surfaced on Facebook in the past few hours, of a sinkhole in one of Gozo’s busiest road, the major road leading up to Nadur.

In just 3 hours of the video being posted, the Ministry of Gozo took action and closed off the road for repairs.

While thanking the minister who handled the situation ever so promptly, Mayor Edward Said expressed his concern on a Facebook post.

“Ramla road is not the only road in Gozo that needs to be looked after.

As a local council, we’re constantly seeking to work hand in hand with local authorities to oversee that what is needed is being done.

We keep raising awareness on these roads that need dire care, and make sure we’re available to help in any way that we can.”
