WATCH: “Santa Claus is Immune to the Virus and Will be Delivering Gifts Tonight” – World Health Organistion

 

As part of its regular COVID-19 world briefings, the World Health Organisation has given an important update about Santa Claus and how the pandemic will affect him.

Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO COVID-19 Technical Lead has in fact confirmed that Santa Claus is immune to the coronavirus and this should not impact his duties tonight. Moreover, Maria Van Kerkhove also said that they have in fact spoken to him and Mrs Claus, as they had their usual busy days!

 

 

Moreover, the World Health Organisation also confirmed that they spoke to various Heads of State and Heads of Government, who all agreed to ease any quarantine requirements for Santa Claus tonight.

“Santa Claus will be able to travel in and out of the airspace and be able to deliver presents to children,” Maria Van Kerkhove said, adding that children however should obey their parents or guardians and keep physical distance from Santa Claus tonight, and should go to bed early.
