Remember Rugrats? Well then, get ready for a blast from the past because the popular kids’ cartoon is getting a revival AND it’s with the original cast!
That’s right, Tommy Pickles and the gang are set for a return, reuniting the original voice cast for a CGI-animated Rugrats! This means that E.G. Daily, Nancy Cartwright, Cheryl Chase, Cree Summer, and Kath Soucie will all be reprising their roles.
Judging by this sneak-peek, nothing has changed besides the fresh new animation. Angelica is still bossy, Chuckie uncertain, and Tommy still leads the pack!

And if you’re not from the early 00s or 90s, Rugrats is a series that debuted in 1991 and ran for nine seasons, before the finale aired in 2004. This was followed by three movies including The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris, and a crossover with The Wold Thornberrys, Rugrats Go Wild.

Then there was the Rugrats as teenagers in the sequel series All Grown Up! which aired from 2003 to 2008. Meanwhile, this reboot is expected to launch later this year, but no specific date has been announced.
Looks like 2021 is going to be a banging year for TV!
