“Pulp Fiction” is one of Quentin Tarantino’s most iconic and beloved movies, and it starred John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson together in 1994. And now, 26 years later, the two have reunited for a Christmas Commercial – and it’s overflowing with ‘Pulp Fiction’ references!
The ad starts off with Travolta, dressed as Santa, reading out a wish list while drinking a milkshake – and if you’re a Pulp Fiction fan, then you’d know that this is a nod to his character, Vincent Vega, and Uma Thurman’s Mia Wallace when they shared the “five-dollar” drink in the film.
Travolta goes on to read out “3,000 bolo ties”, something that Vincent always wore… until he’s interrupted by a surprise call from Jackson, who asks if he’s off the “naughty list” to which Santa replies, “Are you off the naughty words?”.

Jackson is also seen wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Happy Holidays with Cheese”, which is a direct reference to his “Royale with cheese” scene in the movie. A dance trophy can also be seen in the background in honour of Thurman’s character.
And of course, the commercial ends with Travolta recreating the absolutely iconic dance scene between him and Thurman.
