James Charles seems to be holding on for dear life to try and always be in the limelight, and his latest stunt (in a series of stunts) has placed him at the receiving end of backlash by a lot of people all over the world, claiming his insensitivity to an issue which can be delicate and personal for some.
First it was the ‘bald’ situation, where James seemingly shaved off his head, and then it was the pregnancy photo, where James appeared in a photo, completely naked, showing off a bump and covering his chest.
As with many things James Charles does, there was a meaning behind this photo shoot, which left people confused AF. This was a sort-of-a promotion for a video of his entitled ’24 Hours being pregnant which he later uploaded on his YouTube channel.
Still, this did not stop people from truly expressing their opinion about this whole thing!
To pretend to be pregnant when there is women who cannot. 😒😒

I’m sorry but James Charles and his team really filmed that shit, made those comments and didn’t see anything wrong with it? How thirsty for clout can you be?! So gross, disrespectful and insensitive. Also I’m sure he’s at an age where he knows that pregnancy jokes aren’t ok

Others called out the fact that his video referenced Halsey — who has endometriosis — and her pregnancy photo shoot. Endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis.
It also appears that Halsey unfollowed James Charles soon after the video came out!
halsey literally had endometriosis. for him or his team to say 'very halsey' while he's taking FAKE pregnancy photos is fucking disgusting and it mocks everything that she's been through😐 pic.twitter.com/XSSE99agWE

james please don’t be insensitive saying “that’s very halsey” when she has endometriosis and she has to work hard to have this baby. please watch your words

James Charles seemed to be expecting the backlash as he actually said on the disclaimer before his ‘experiment’ started.
“This video is not being made in any way, shape, or form to make fun of or make light of pregnancies and the sensitivities and the complications that come around it. It’s obviously such a beautiful, beautiful thing that women go through with their bodies. It takes a whole lot of strength as well.”
