WATCH: Girl Who Sang ‘Let It Go’ In Bomb Shelter Escapes Ukraine

Amelia Anisovych warmed everyone’s hearts after singing the popular Disney film Frozen’s Let It Go inside a bomb shelter in Ukraine. She was in the bomb shelter with her 15-year-old brother Misha.

The 7-year-old and her brother had to be separated from their parents Lilia and Roman after they had to remain in Kyiv. The video of the girl became viral on social media and she was praised for her braveness and her beautiful voice.

In an interview, her mother said: “But it is a tragedy that she is only a star because of so much death and destruction… I was so sad to wave goodbye to my children but it was the best thing to do to make sure they are safe.”

Luckily, the little girl and her brother have made it out of Ukraine after spending almost a week in the shelter with scarce food and water. They both managed to flee across the border to Poland and are now living safely with their grandmother.
