In 2015, the Malta Airport Foundation sponsored the production of a documentary about the relatively unknown underwater habitat surrounding the protected island of Filfla.
The 30-minute documentary is part of a series produced by an award-winning team for ‘The Panacea Project’ and is intended to promote a message of conservation. The documentary takes viewers closer than they have ever been to the enigmatic island and is significant in light of the fact that Malta’s rich marine environment attracts around 110,000 tourists to experience scuba diving each year. The issue of preserving and protecting this marine habitat is of crucial importance both in terms of our collective heritage and our tourism product.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
