WATCH: Footage Of People Boarding The Gozo Channel Back in the 1960s and 1970s

Footage shared by Malta Audio Visual Memories has given some of us the ultimate throwback with one of their latest videos.

To be fair, the ferries have changed and improved over the years, but what really grabbed our attention was the cars boarding!

The Mgarr port also looks different – not to mention what they’re all wearing (although some of those outfits have come back in style now.)

The Gozo ferry is run by the Gozo Channel Line. There are currently four ships being operated. Ferry services are daily, and they carry both passengers and vehicles between the two main islands.

Youโ€™ll be able to find a ferry at almost every hour of the day, all year round, running a trip every 30 minutes during peak times.

Do you remember the Gozo Ferry operating during these times?
