WATCH: A Newer and Bigger DAR Bjorn

The year 2020 has been a strenuous year for all. Yet, Bjorn Formosa’s resilience has prevailed having one main goal in mind; to raise money for a newer and bigger DAR Bjorn.

DAR Bjorn houses not only ALS patients but also those suffering from MS and other neurological disorders. Currently, there are more than 50 people on the waitlist to enter DAR Bjorn in Qormi. Yet, DAR Bjorn can only host 13 patients, who are given free, 24/7 medical assistance. Seeing the large number of people that require this type of medical assistance, a newer and bigger DAR Bjorn becomes vital at this stage.

DAR Bjorn has already been of tremendous help to many people of all age groups. At DAR Bjorn patients support each other and become like one family.  However, to keep aiding more people, Bjorn needs your support. The newer and bigger DAR Bjorn (by ALS Malta), located in Żebbuġ – Malta, will provide more specialised beds for patients, across 7 floors.

The cost of DAR Bjorn amounts to €5 million. Until now, more than €3 million have been raised, however, in order to make this dream come true, Bjorn needs your support. Spread kindness and generosity to aid this inspirational initiative.
