Walking For Child Cancer – Pass Pass Ma’ Puttinu This Sunday

 

#TeamGoddo, as founded by Godwin DeBattista, will be taking on a 61km walk from Wied il-Mielah, Gharb in Gozo, to Birzebbuga in Malta in a bid to raise funds for the ‘Puttinu Cares’ charity.

 

 

The walk will take place this Sunday on the 21^st of November and aims to not only boost fundraising efforts but also to raise further awareness of Child Cancer in the Maltese Islands.

 

The walking route is expected to be covered in just one day, marking roughly 14 hours on foot. As DeBattista himself stated, ‘I feel very privileged to welcome team members who will support or join in during parts of the journey, and others’ help in the fundraising and sharing via social media’.

 

 

#TeamGoddo also shared, ‘Our vision is a world where all children with cancer survive. As it stands 1 in every 6 children do not make it. Hence, we MUST do MORE. This page is aimed at raising further awareness and much-needed funds. Please participate’.

 

Their dedication stems from the fact that every day, 12 families are told that their child has cancer, with 10 children and adolescents tragically losing their battle each week.
