Just last week Hollywood and the Marvel Fandom woke up shocked at the news that Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passed away, aged just 43, after a secret battle with cancer. The lovely people over at EDEN Cinemas, have decided that to honour Boseman’s memory, as well as to mark Children Cancer Awareness Month, Black Panther is hitting the screens once again for a limited time only.
Tickets can be bought by simply CLICKING HERE. EDEN Cinemas will be donating €1 from every ticket sold to Puttinu Cares Foundation, which works closely with Children who would be passing through terrible times because of Cancer.
Last week we also read how Boseman continued working on movies, in between chemotherapy appointments. Apart from this, however, he continued making children’s wishes come true, as he regularly visited various Children’s Hospitals all over America, often taking with him not just toys, but also joy, courage and inspiration.

The visit shown in Boseman’s tweet above, which has now gone viral, came two years after Boseman was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer, which developed into stage four. Fans have reshared the post to remember that Boseman was a ‘real life hero’, with one tweet reading: ‘Can we all remember until the end of time that whilst Chadwick Boseman silently suffered for four years with cancer, he still visited sick kids in hospital & brought them so much joy during their hour of need? This is the man he was. He will forever be a king.’
A SiriusXM interview from the Black Panther promo tour has also been shared widely, in which Boseman broke down in tears as he recalled two young boys dying from cancer before they got to see Black Panther.
It is with this in mind, that EDEN Cinemas, KRS and Puttinu Cares have teamed up for this limited screening of Black Panther, which will not only serve for Malta’s Finest Cinema Complex to honour Chadwick Boseman’s memory, but it will also be a way through which all of you, reading this post, can make a difference in the lives of Maltese children, as the €1 from your ticket, added to the €1 of all the tickets, will definitely make a difference in the day-to-day operations of Puttinu Cares, and in the lives of others.
Don’t forget that EDEN Cinemas is operating with a reduced capacity to ensure maximum safety and comfort, so get your tickets now, by CLICKING HERE, to avoid disappointment.
