A garden dedicated to the late Dr Victor Calvagna will soon be opened in Mosta. Ċikku Fenech’s abandoned field is going to be transformed into a beautiful public garden in Mosta named after the doctor.
Plans for the transformation of the garden were announced today by the Parliamentary Secretary for Citizenship and Communities, Alex Muscat. He said that, after meeting up with Calvagna’s family, they all decided that this garden should be transformed to celebrate his memory. Alex Muscat added that Dr Victor Calvagna deserved this garden, especially since he worked so much towards the wellbeing and health of children.
The late paediatric cancer specialist and president of Puttinu Cares passed away on the 4th of January at the age of 63 after he was hit by a car.
