UPDATED: Two Women Aged 72 and 86, and an 85-Year Old Man Die After Testing Positive for COVID-19

 

An 85-year old man, became Malta’s 20th COVID-19 Victim after he sadly died today at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health said that the man was tested positive for the virus on the 2nd September when he was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital as he had various other underlying medical conditions.

 

 

Earlier:The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health has just announced that two women, aged 72 and 86 have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

The 72-year old woman was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 11th August, and tested positive on the 12th August. She was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit on the 15th August, and unfortunately passed away last night.

 

 

The 86-year old also died in the Intensive Care Unit of Mater Dei Hospital. The woman had tested positive on the 8th September and was admitted to hospital on the 16th September.

Our thoughts are with all the families and the relatives of these two victims, at such a difficult time.
