UM Awarded Its First UNESCO Chair In Adult Education

As the scholastic season slowly approaches us yet again, the University of Malta has just been awarded its first UNESCO Chair in Adult Education, uniting our university with the University of Kalyani in India!

Can your nationality help you to secure a job at UNESCO in 2020?

This was revealed by a statement released by the University, stating that the Chair was awarded after the work of Professor Baldacchino and Professor Peter Mayo. The two will now be administering the appointment within UNESCO.

The work will partially include plans to establish anew the International Council for Adult Education, otherwise known as ICAE, as an open electronic source.

Project Goal - Guidance And Orientation For Adult Learners

There are also plans that aim to enable the University to offer an MA in Adult Education on both an international and online basis.
