Over the past couple of days, 19-year-old Nicole Bezzina lost her battle to cancer.
Puttinu announced her death on a Facebook post a couple of hours ago.
Tributes soon started flooding in, explaining what a wonderful person she was, inside and out.
“Rest in peace beautiful girl. After long battles and hard struggles, it’s your time to rest. You were a young woman, that might have been small, but you were so full of courage and of a great example to others. Protect your family from up there in heaven,” the post goes.
“Fly High Beautiful Angel ❤️😘 Thank you for all the beautiful memories and I am sure that you will be watching us from Heaven. Love you xxx,” one person wrote.
“You are in the most beautiful pain free place beautiful Angel,” another shares.
Nicole was a BTS fan. Tributes will also be paid in Valletta by other BTS fans based in Malta on Friday 26th June at 6pm. Attendees have been encouraged to avoid dark colours.
“We decided to meet at the Upper Barraka in Belt Valletta to honor her life and show respect to her and her family. Knowing how much Nicole loved BTS we decided to create this event to unite us armys together and our Angel Army up in heaven to show how much we love her by throwing purple balloons in the sky ( the balloons will then be picked up for environment safety) while filming a video. further details will be shown in this event.
As for the dress code for this event you are required to wear bright colors, preferably a white t-shirt or any bright color shirt, please avoid dark color clothing.
As you may or may not know, Nicole also had big love towards Puttinu so we will be also donating an amount of money all together as a group. The amount of money that is going to be donated will be open so everyone will donate as much as they want or can. Later on, these will be all gathered in a purple envelope and given to one of Nicole’s close friend. If anyone would like to attend but unfortunately can’t and would still like to donate, you can message on of us private chat.
Note: This event is open for anyone to join not just ARMY and her friends.
Time and date: Friday 26th June at 6:00pm”
Rest in peace Nicole. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these difficult times.
