Tom Holland is taking some time to bond with younger brother, despite being busy at work on the set of Spider-Man 3, which he revealed is the ‘most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made’.
The actor shared a photo of himself and his younger brother, Harry, on the set of the upcoming Marvel movie, dressed in his Spider-Man costume and impressively carried his younger brother on his shoulders.
In the caption, Holland wrote, ‘Today was easily one of the highlights of my career. For those of you that were there, you know what I’m talking about and for those of you that weren’t, you better buckle up!!!’
As for the third instalment to the Spider-Man franchise, Holland added, ‘It’s really impressive. I’ve never seen a standalone superhero movie quite like it. And I’m just, you know, again, that lucky little s— who happens to be Spider-Man in it.’
The actor also added that he’s interested in directing a movie, and revealed that him and Harry have been writing a script together, ‘We managed to acquire the rights to a book series that we loved as kids.’
He concluded, ‘I’d love to direct one day. We’re not rushing anything because I think the project we’re working on is amazing and can be quite powerful. So we want to make sure we get it right. But hopefully, within the next five years, you’ll see Harry and I sitting in the director’s chairs shouting action.’
