Three men were greviously injured following three separate incidents yesterday.
A 20-year old from Zabbar was taken to Mater Dei in an Ambulance after suffering injuries which were caused by a fire in a garage in Zabbar. In the same incident a 27-year old from Marsaskala suffered light injuries.
Meanwhile, a 31-year old man from Lija was involved in an accident in Mellieha, when for some reason, he fell from the motorbike which he was driving.
And a 35-year old man from San Gwann was found in front of the Tas-Silg Chapel covered in blood, after what seems to have been an argument with another man, in Marsaxlokk. From preliminary investigations, and from details given by the victim, the aggressor, who injured the victim with a knife and stole his belongings, was later found and identified as a 30-year old man of Libyan nationality.
The aggressor was arrested and held at the Police Lock-up in Floriana, whilst a Magisterial Inquiry is underway.
