There Are ‘No Plans’ For Any More Series in The Haunting Anthology

The creator of the Haunting Anthology, Mike Flanagan, has officially confirmed that there are ‘no plans’ for any more series.

Flanagan has shared that he is currently focusing on other projects and doesn’t intend on following up The Haunting Of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor with a third installment. However, he did hint that it might not be over for good…

The 42-year-old filmmaker replied to someone on Twitter, ‘At the moment there are no plans for more chapters. Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other @intrepid projects for 2021 and beyond. If things change, we will absolutely let everyone know!’

The Haunting anthology creator has an idea for season 3

The beloved series was produced by Intrepid Pictures, a company founded in 2004 and co-run by Flanagan. They also produced the 2019 horror Doctor Sleep, which was also directed by Flanagan.

Fingers crossed that he manages to find a compelling enough story to bring him back for a third time around!

The Haunting of Hill House' renewed as anthology at Netflix

But don’t worry! Flanagan’s next project is just as creepy… Midnight Mass is another supernatural horror series, which will consist of seven episodes, and is set to land on Netflix at some point in the near future.
