A 17-year-old teenager has donated his newly-bought car to a flood victim.
The teenager, Harry Ledger wanted to help a flood survivor from Kingscliff, Dylan Simpson, by giving him his new car after he spent two years saving up for it. Unfortunately, Simpson lost his rental accommodation and his car to a flood.
Thankfully, the teen stepped in to help him out. Harry had been working hard for two years to save up for the car but when he saw the devastation after the flood, he wanted to help more.
During an interview he said: “When you really look and understand what’s happening there and the devastation … it seems like it’s the least you can do.”
His family also donated $3,000 in cash and products to the cause.
