If you’re a fan of Reggaeton or Spanish love songs, then we might just have the next EP for you, as Selena Gomez has just released a seven-track Spanish-language EP, Revelación, which pays tribute to her Latina roots.

The singer sat down with Vogue and shared, ‘A lot of my fan base is Latin, and I’ve been telling them this album was going to happen for years. But the fact that it’s coming out during this specific time is really cool. The project is really an homage to my heritage. It’s a Sasha Fierce moment, for sure.’
You can find tracks such as Buscando Amor, Vicio, and Adios, as Gomez taps into her flirty side whilst sensually singing about looking for – and learning to let go of – love.

Gomez also explained how this project was a long time coming and very welcome addition to her current discography, following her last drop – her album Rare – last year.
Oddly enough, the singer also admitted that it’s usually easier for her to sing in Spanish than to speak it, ‘There’s a lot of slang that I needed to learn. Spanish changes generationally as well as [geographically]. Sometimes I was like, ‘Wait! Hang on! I need to understand!’’

She concluded, ‘But now, I think I actually sound better in Spanish than I do in English.’ Meanwhile, the EP was produced by Tainy, who is responsible for popular hits such as Dua Lipa’s Un Dia and several of Bad Bunny and J. Balvin’s albums.
