In today’s conference held by Prime Minister Robert Abela, Chris Fearne, and Professor Charmaine Gauci, new, relaxed measures were announced as educational institutes are set to re-open as of Monday and elected surgeries will resume in Mater Dei…

On Monday 12th of April, schools, childcare centres, and educational institutes will re-open their doors, whilst middle schools return on Wednesday 14th, and secondary schools (forms 3 to 5) will return on Friday 16th April. Meanwhile, post-secondary educational institutes will remain online.

Also, as of Friday 16th, visits to elderly care homes will resume. On the 26th of April, non-essential shops – including hairdressers, nail salons, clothing shops, etc. – will re-open. The 2-persons-in-public rule will also go up to 4 people on the 26th, unless from the same household.
