Four persons are currently being investigated by the police in connection with yesterday’s tragedy in Santa Venera which claimed the life of 54-year old Miriam Pace, whose lifeless body was found in the debris almost eight hours after the tragedy took place.
The four persons currently being investigated and in custody, are an architect, a site technical officer and two contractors, who all were held under arrest soon after the accident.
The police investigation is running in parallel with the magisterial inquiry being led by Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit.
Meanwhile, social media is flooding with anger and words of support to Mr Pace and his family at such a difficult time. Moreover, a silent protest is being planned by civil society at the site of the tragedy.
