Ryanair is planning a return to action in July, with around 40% of its flight schedule resuming. All crew and passengers will be required to wear protective face masks as well as passing temperature checks.
The airline said that this return would be subject to the lifting of government restrictions within the EU, adding that effective public health measures would also need to be in place within airports to ensure the maximum safety for passengers and crew.
Ryanair’s plan would involve nearly 1,000 flights daily, with 90% of its route network on offer.
Chief Executive Eddie Wilson said that “after four months, it is time to get Europe flying again, so we can reunite friends and families, allow people to return to work, and restart Europe’s tourism industry, which provides millions of jobs.”
What do you think? Are you ready to pack your bags again?
