Ryanair has launched a massive Malta sale, with the cheapest tickets going for less than €20.
The low-cost airline announced the good news after celebrating a major Maltese milestone.
It has carried nine million customers to and from Malta since it started flying to Luqa in 2006.
This winter, Ryanair will offer Maltese customers a choice of 40 routes – with three new services to Belfast, Naples and Riga and extra flights to Gdansk, Krakow, Stockholm, Venice Treviso, Vilnius and Wroclaw.
Ryanair celebrated its Maltese milestone by releasing seats for sale from just €19.99 for travel between September and November.
The low fares are available for booking on the Ryanair website until midnight on Friday.
Malta’s tourism minister Konrad Mizzi told 89.7 Bay: ‘The Maltese authorities recognise the significant contribution by Ryanair to increase the number and frequency of direct airline routes.
‘We have established an excellent working relationship with Ryanair based on mutual respect and understanding. It is due to this that we are here to celebrate such an important milestone today.’
