Brighton and Swansea have topped the list of the UK’s happiest cities to live and work in.
The study revealed 86.4 per cent of professionals living and working in the seaside city felt happy on a daily basis.
The research found the happiest places were Brighton on the south coast of England, followed by Swansea in Wales.
Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow, came third.
London came in at ninth place ahead of Manchester at number 10.
They study examined a number of factors including house prices, salaries, work-life balance, traffic congestion, entertainment, green spaces and leisure facilities.
The UK’s happiest cities to live and work in:
1. Brighton – 86.4%
According to data 74.3 percent of professionals living in Brighton said they have a good work-life balance.
2. Swansea – 75%
The study found 70 per cent of professionals in the Welsh city felt confident about finding a new job.
3. Glasgow – 70.6%
Data reveals 73.5 per cent of Glaswegians were satisfied with their job, while 77.8 per cent said they had a good work-life balance.
