Meet Hank. This 8 month old puppy was abandoned by the side of a road and waited for someone to save him.

 

 

 

 

Hank was found by passers-by sitting in an old dog bed, surrounded by his toys. He had a sealed bag of dog food that he can’t open near him.

Unlike other dogs Hank’s age, who would run around the forest, he sat patiently and waited for a kind heart to save him.

 

 

 

 

 

He was rescued by a local animal shelter:

“He was nothing but love from the moment they got him,” said Rosa Fond, founder of Humans and Animals United. “Everybody says that he’s the sweetest dog.”

 

 

 

 

 

Doctors later discovered Hank had a broken leg, explaining why he never moved from his bed when he was alone. Now Hank has been nursed back to full health, with adoptions requests pouring in to find him a new home!
