With the current Covid-19 situation here in Malta, everyone has been pulling their weight, contributing in any way that they can, to the nation’s fight against this horrible virus.
Everyone’s doing their bit, including prisoners living at the RISe Foundation residence.
RISe is an institution that helps offenders gradually reintegrate within society, through community services and other measures. Admitting that they are paying for their mistakes, RISe residents want to give something back to society, during this pandemic.
And that’s exactly what they’re doing by creating toys for the children in Malta’s children’s homes, who, like the rest of us, are staying indoors for their own safety.
The toys that RISe residents are creating, are made of balloons and recycled material, and are filled with sweets and surprises for children.
We’re sure the kids will absolutely love these.
Well done to RISe Foundation for such a sweet initiative.
