The reports that Prince Charles won’t make Archie a prince, solidifies Meghan Markle’s previous claims during the infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Apparently Prince Charles has plans to slim down the monarchy after he becomes King, with Archie denied a place among frontline Royals.
Traditionally, the grandchild of the sovereign is granted the right to be a prince. However, the Prince of Wales has decided to limit the number of key royals as a cost-saving measure.
This comes after the wavering support for the monarchy in the wake of Harry and Meghan’s interview.
Sources close to the couple, Prince Charles is planning to change any legal documents to ensure that Archie can’t claim the title.
In fact, Harry and Meghan were told that Archie would never be a Prince even when Charles became King.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex they discussed the mechanics of the monarchy, Meghan’s struggle with mental health and the Royal family’s response to the birth of Archie.
They also mentioned that one member of the family questioned Archie’s skin colour and spoke about being told that Archie won’ receive security like others from the palace just because he wasn’t a prince.
Lest we forget this is precisely what Meghan said. They were discussing how they would change a 100+ year convention to prevent Archie and his future siblings, now Lili, from being Princes and Princesses.#RacistRoyalFamily pic.twitter.com/ufhhoU34U9

Meghan previously told Oprah about the ‘idea of the first member of colour in this family not being titled in the same way that other grandchildren would be.’
‘It’s not their right to take away. Even with that convention I’m talking about, while I was pregnant, they said they want to change the convention for Archie,’ Meghan added.
