Tributes have been paid to Maltese comedy actor Benny Casha following his death at the age of 48.
The star of One TV‘s popular sitcom ‘Qeghdin Sew’ reportedly suffered a heart attack on Wednesday.
He produced a number of shows over the years, including ‘Gawdenz Bilocca’, ‘Midinbin’ and others.
He was also the managing director of Bronk Productions.
Mr Casha, who lived in Mqabba and was a huge Arsenal supporter, served as the vice-president of the National Regatta Association.
He was also the vice-president of Senglea Athletic football club.
The Malta Football Association paid tribute to him in a statement.
It tweeted: ‘The Malta FA extends its profound condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Benny Casha during this difficult time.’
