Earlier today, Prime Minister Robert Abela visited the Health Centre in Paola to personally thank all the Primary Healthcare Workers, all of whom are on the frontline during the COVID-19 Outbreak. To follow all the required social-distancing measures, PM Abela, who was accompanied by DPM Chris Fearne carried out the visit outdoors.
The Prime Minister also commended those who stayed indoors and waved from the balconies and the windows, holding signs which read “Stay Home, Stay Safe”. An impromptu applause by all those present followed and echoed in the empty Paola Square.
The Prime Minister thanked all the workers for their hard work, and for the sacrifices which they are making to be of service to the Maltese public, and appealed for the continued support and appreciation of the public to the hard work of all the frontliners.
All of us here at bay.com.mt cannot stop thanking these people enough!
