According to official television CCTV, a China Eastern Airlines passenger jet carrying 133 passengers crashed in southwest China.
There is no information about any casualties in the incident as of yet.
The Boeing 737 plane crashed in the countryside near Wuzhou city in the Guangxi region. It “caused a mountain fire”, CCTV said, adding that rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

China Eastern flight MU5735 did not arrive at its intended destination in Guangzhou after taking off from Kunming soon after 1 p.m. (5 a.m. GMT).
