The wave of change is upon us and a number of people in Malta have started taking matters into their own hands when it comes to keeping the island green and clean.
From organising group clean-ups both on land and at sea, as well as gathering as many cigarette butts as they possibly can in a span of a few hours, these guys are just smashing it.

Raniero from Raniero’s Adventures
Raniero has provided us with his fair share of videos that shows how badly our seas need cleaning. Organising various clean-ups both on land and on sea makes him an inspiration to us all.
Another achievement crossed off when it comes to ridding beaches of cigarette butts.
During a visit to Comino, Jasha managed to pick up around 400 cigarette butts and posted about it on popular Facebook group ‘Expats Malta’ together with a little rant, pleading to the people in charge to prohibit smoking and to heavily reduce the amount of plastic that is used on such beaches.
These guys have definitely earned the much deserved recognition. A big thank you for contributing to a cleaner and greener Malta and keep up the great work.
If you want to be a part of their wave of change, just follow them on Facebook and join in on their next clean-up event!
