The FA Cup draws aren’t getting any easier for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
After steering Manchester United past Arsenal in the fourth round, the interim boss was handed a tie with Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea in Monday evening’s draw for round five.
United have won all eight of the matches they’ve played under Solskjaer so far since the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December, as the Norwegian has transformed the mood around the club.
United players are now looking as though they are enjoying themselves again, and that has of course led to smiles returning to the faces of the fans.
But trouble could be lurking around the corner, because the draw against Chelsea has given United a nightmare fixture list in mid-to-late February.
The game at Stamford Bridge comes shortly after the first-leg of the Champions League last-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain, and then after the Chelsea game United are hosting Liverpool in the league.
Then after league games against Crystal Palace and Southampton comes PSG again, Arsenal and Manchester City , although the latter match could be rescheduled.
