The former Glee star will be voicing Selina Kyle, aka the iconic anti-heroine, Catwoman! Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One will premiere this spring or summer and will see Jensen Ackles as Batman/Bruce Wayne.
The film will be directed by Chris Palmer and written by Tim Sheridan. It’s based on the comic of the same title which ran for 13 issues back in the late 90s.
Last year, Naya was reported missing after renting a boat for her and her son Josey at Lake Piru, California. Hours later, Josey was found asleep alone and told investigators he and his mum had been swimming together, but she didn’t make it back into the boat.
He said he had watched her disappear beneath the surface of the lake, and police later argued that Naya ‘mustered enough strength to save her son but not herself’.
The actress’s body was found after a five-day search, and an autopsy confirmed she died of accidental drowning. She was then laid to rest a fortnight after her death.
