Malta is course to welcome a record number of holidaymakers in 2019.
Latest figures show visitor numbers to Malta during the ﬁrst four months of the year amounted to 667,90 – an increase of 3.1 per cent.
They’re also spending more while they’re on holiday.
Total tourism expenditure from January to April amounted to €444.5 million – that’s 3.1 per cent higher than that recorded for 2018,
The Office for National Statistics in Valletta said that April saw an increase of 4.2 per cent in tourist numbers to 244,372.
