Over €20,000 have been raised to a Jaiteh Lamin’s recovery fundraiser, a 32-year-old father and migrant work who was left on the roadside after being injured on local a construction site.
Lamin’s incident took to the local scene by storm, highlighting migrant worker abuse in Malta, and consequently forcing the country to reflect on the injustice and inhumane treatment that exists on these Islands.

The NGO expressed: ‘We are overwhelmed with your generosity! Let’s hope that this is paired with the justice deserved!’.
