She was an overnight sensation when she flew the flag for Malta on Britain’s Got Talent.
And now Giorgia Borg, 11, from Birkirkara has gone global.
The singing schoolgirl has been named in a list of ‘The Most Talented Kid Singers Around The World’ on YouTube.
The video features the very best young performers from The X Factor and Got Talent shows worldwide.
Giorgia has been keeping busy since she wowed judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
Last week, she appeared live on stage with former Winter Moods frontman Ivan Grech at a charity concert in Valletta.
WHO IS GIORGIA BORG?
The 10-year-old singer from Malta seriously impressed everyone on Britain’s Got Talent two months ago with her original song about parents listening to their children.
The audience and the judges were left open-mouthed by her powerful voice and Giorgia looked like she was having the time of her life.
Her audition video soon went viral with an astonishing 1.6 million YouTube views in just 12 hours.
Giorgia was 10 years old when she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year.
She lives in Malta with her two mums, three cats, and two dogs, and her mum says she’s been able to sing since she was born in 2008.
She joined La Voix School of Performing Arts in Marsa in 2013 and is coached by Gillian Attard.
Giorgia came third in the Malta Junior Eurovision song contest heats last year.
She has also won a number of awards, including first place at the Italian ‘Una Stella Sta Nascendo’ 2015 for ‘best junior talent’, and first place at the 2017 San Remo Junior Contest.
