Gozo Channel will be operating more ferry crossings than ever this summer.
The ferry operator has unveiled its new timetable, which starts on Monday 17 June.
It shows that services will run every 30 minutes during the weekday morning rush to cope with the increased demand from commuters and tourists.
Ferries will operate every morning from Mgarr in Gozo at 0530, 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730, 0815, 0830 and 0900, Monday to Friday.
From Cirkewwa in Malta, services will run at 0615, 0645, 0715, 0745, 0815 and 0900.
In all, 36 trips a day will be made between Mgarr and Cirkewwa – more than ever before.
The summer timetable will run until Sunday 10 November.
Gozo Channel will be operating four ships this summer, Malita, Gaudos, Ta’ Pinu and Nikolaus.
Nikolaus has been leased from a Cypriot shipping company.
