It’s been a long time coming… but ever since Netflix announced the release date for the fifth and final instalment of the hit Spanish show Money Heist last month, it’s now soon here – and it’ll be welcoming three new characters!
So… who will we be meeting? Viewers will first be introduced to Rafael, Berlin’s son who is portrayed by Patrick Criado. At 31 years old, Rafael has studied computer engineering at MIT and is clear about one thing: he doesn’t want to become his father.
We’ll also be meeting Tokyo’s former flame René, played by Miguel Ángel Silvestre… René was the love of her life, the man she started mugging with, with whom she travelled, enjoyed life and the man she loved before Silene Oliveira discovered that sometimes things can quicky go astray in her so-called perfect world.
Finally, we’ll be meeting Sagasta, Commander of the Special Forces of the Spanish Army. Sagasta will be played by Spanish actor José Manuel Seda. He is a born leader, whom his men will follow to the end. As soon as his uniform is on, he is an analytical, cold, and ruthless person.
The first part of the fifth series is expected to drop on September 3, whilst the second part will make its debut on December 3!
