Malta’s queen of Pop needs no introduction. Although our love for her ‘7th Wonder’ days will never really fade, Ira’s given nothing but sheer talent throughout the years.
Performing in 17 different countries around the world, with over 20 music awards under her belt, Ira Losco has been Malta’s leading female artist for the last decade, making her one of the most recognizable faces in her home territory.
From rock tunes like ‘Love Me or Hate me’ to anthems like ‘Hey Now’, ‘What I’d Give’, ‘Cannonball’ and more, this queen does not disappoint.
And let’s not forget her Maltese classic ‘Fejn Stahbejtli’.
Gaia will forever be known as the first person to win Eurovision in Malta’s name, after winning the Junior Eurovision with her song ‘The Start’ back in 2013.
Fast forward a few years, and Gaia is old enough to compete in the British version of X Factor. She may not have made it to the finals, but talented Gaia impressed the judges with her astounding vocals and definitely made Malta proud.
Now, Gaia is making a name for herself on this tiny island. Her latest release ‘Why Should I?’ shows her versatility as an artist and her perfect star image.
All of Malta sat in silence as we heard Michela’s first audition in the X Factor room auditions. Her rendition of ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ left both judges and a whole nation lost for words.
After winning the first season of X Factor Malta, Michela went on to represent Malta at the Eurovision song contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, with the song ‘Chameleon’.
Over the next year, Michela teamed up with Ira Losco to release ‘Cannonball’, a song which spent weeks on our Malta’s Top 10 page.
Michela has basically been giving us one bop after another, including her latest release: ‘Say It First.’
The Maltese starlet who rose to fame after taking part in uber-popular Italian talent show Amici, but you’ll also know her for songs like ‘Alone’ and ‘Without You.’
Following the show, she earned herself a contract with Warner Music Italy as well as a massive fan base – both in Italy and in Malta.
