While Netflix is a wonderful source of enjoyment, it can also be a source of conflict. Whether it’s because you’ve given your login to too many people or because you didn’t keep your promise to watch the next episode of your favourite series together.
I know what you’re thinking, sounds a bit bizarre that someone caught their partner cheating through Netflix, but I guess, cheaters find their creative ways.
Most of the issues with the streaming service are trivial, but for one user, who goes by the Reddit moniker ‘jakiwi3,’ things became personal.
When his wife and the person with whom she was allegedly having an affair utilized his account to publicize their relationship, he quickly took it to Reddit to show how “trashy” she is.
The Redditor posted a screenshot of his account, revealing that the adulterous couple had altered his email address, making it impossible for him to use it. As if that wasn’t enough, the man with whom his wife was having an affair had altered the account’s name to ‘Guy f*cking your former wife,’ a dig at himself.
The Reddit user later stated that he and his wife are ‘separating,’ which is presumably why he refers to her as his ‘ex,’ but he also stated that he was ‘not yet divorced’ when she started dating another man.
However, it appears that the Redditor and his ex shared control of the account since he reacted by saying it was “easier said than done” when divorcing.
He described the move as a “sort of slap in the face,” but expressed gratitude to those who encouraged him to remain optimistic as he exited the relationship.
As crappy the situation is, the trash truly took itself out.
