Maltese Police Officer Praised For Saving Injured Seagull

A small but exemplary gesture! 

Malta police community officer C. Gatt noticed an injured seagull during his foot patrol in Marsalforn, Gozo. The trapped seagull was reportedly too injured to fly and was found stuck in the sand.
 
The police officer took action and saved the bird from further injury, where it was taken for vet treatment by the Police Environmental Protection Unit.

Well done to The Malta Police Force!
