A nurse who hid a camera inside a women’s toilet at Malta’s Mater Dei Hospital has been fined €5,500.
Alexander Borg, 28, from Fgura was also placed on probation for three years by the court in Valletta.
He admitted the charges last week.
The court said it took note of his confession, apology and early guilty plea.
The nurse had pleaded guilty to the solitary charge of taking footage of a private or sexual nature without the consent of his victims, who are believed to be other medical professionals.
The spy camera was found by cleaning staff in a lavatory at the Accident and Emergency Department last month.
