Maltese-English Artist Lauren Aquilina Co-Wrote Songs For Little Mix

Maltese-English singer and song-writer Lauren Aquilina took to Instagram to reveal that she co-wrote two new songs on Little Mix’s latest album Between Us!

The madly talented artist rose to prominence after independently releasing a trilogy of EPs: Fools, Sinners, and Liars while studying at school. In 2016, Aquilina – who was born in Bristol, England to Maltese parents – released her debut album Isn’t It Strange? after being signed with Island Records and Universal Music Group.

It’s been a few years since her album dropped, but Aquilina persisted in doing bigger and better things as her career progressed… In 2021, Aquilina co-wrote 2 of the new songs on Little Mix’s album Between Us: Love (Sweet Love) and Cut You Off, which she remarked was ‘an actual dream come true’.

Taking to Instagram, Aquilina wrote, ‘Can’t believe how lucky I am to get to work with such talented and wonderful people’.

Also in 2021, Aquilina co-wrote Carefully, California Sober, and Butterfly from Demi Lovato’s recent album: Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over. She even co-wrote Ava Max’s song EveryTime I Cry! How cool is that?!

Fans who know and love Aquilina know that she truly deserves all the recognition she can get, so we love seeing her career take off as it is!
