The island’s best chefs have been recognised at the annual Malta culinary awards.
InterContinental Malta‘s team – led by Executive Chef Roger Friggieri – won a medal in each category they took part in.
The hotel’s executive sous chef Brady Dalli scooped the silver medal in the race to be named Chef of The Year.
‘Each and every one of them have out-done themselves. I had no doubt that our chefs were going to do a brilliant job.
‘On a daily basis, I have the pleasure to see the extraordinary quality of cuisine that they offer our guests, and that we are able to display and present it in such a spectacular manner.’
The Malta Kulinarja, Cookery and Culinary Arts Championships are organised by the Malta Chefs Society.
