Malta’s SkolaSajf Programme Set To Return On 1st July 2020


Education Minister Owen Bonnici this morning confirmed that the Summer School programme SkolaSajf is set to start as scheduled, on the 1st July 2020.

Minister Bonnici said however, that the number of applications has gone down significantly, with 3,000 applications received as opposed to the usual 10,000.

Malta’s educational institutions have been closed since the COVID-19 outbreak hit Malta, with a further announcement then stating that they will not be reopening before the next scholastic year.

Minister Bonnici said that this year’s SkolaSajf will obviously have added precautionary measures to try and prevent further transmission of the Coronavirus, and stated that these details will be announced at a later stage, closer to the 1st July start date.
