Malta’s petitioning for Jasmine to return to the X Factor Malta

It seems like two days later, Malta is still reeling from Jasmine being voted off from the X Factor.

A petition has been doing the rounds online, asking people to sign up, so that Jasmine makes her well deserved return to that X Factor stage.

The creator of the petition writes:

This is a show for the public and the public is outraged by what happened last night during X Factor Malta live shows 2. Just look at who is still trending, the views, the polls and all the votes that clearly didn’t go through. Jasmine was robbed and she DESERVES to be back next week.

Gaia Cauchi even expressed her support by sharing the petition with all her fans.

Jasmine’s performance of “Material Girl” failed to convince enough people to vote even though she was considered a favourite after last week’s performance of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” which is still number 1 trending in Malta and Gozo on Youtube!

And although it’s a great gesture, especially towards Jasmine herself, to see the Maltese public supporting her, there isn’t much anyone can do at this point. The decision has unfortunately been taken (despite being a bogus one), and Jasmine will probably not be able to return to the X Factor stage where she belongs.

The petition has already garnered over 350 signatures. Will yours be joining them?
